Stubben poll pads

Hi,

Does anyone have any epxerience of using a Stubben poll pad (like you get on a comfort/ elevator bridle)??

I am thinking this might be an alternative to getting a comfort bride as most of them seem quite chunky due to the crank noeabands and I think my ponio's head is too fine to carry them off.

I would be interested to know any thoughts!

you can get prolite poll pads online, just google them. You can make your own aswell - much cheaper!

yup - added a stubben pad to my old cob who had a tender spot on his poll and it worked a treat. I found them much more padded than the cheaper comfort bridles too - and local tack shop has then for £17 - bargain!

£17 sounds good to me! That's even cheaper than I've found them on ebay!! Will have to see if my tack shop has them.
