I think it will come up rather large on him. I have a 16h1" Hann x TB & he has full size Stubben bridles but they're adjusted to be almost as small as it can to fir him. I think that even with your horse being chunky won't manage to fill the bridle....sory, looks like you'll have to find another.

Incidentally I had a 14h1" NF some years ago, he was chunky & he had cob size in bridle, Full would have swamped him.

Could you measure your bridle and compare to the measurements of the new one? Surely they have a website giving dimensions.

I found that Stubbens were small fitting, even their XFS was too small for my horse.

You need to be careful. I bought my Stubben Bridle in Germany, over there they talk about TB Full size and WB Full size. I think a Full size will be too big for your pony.

Ty has a full size stubben but it's erring towards the larger size - he's got a massive head (typical irish TB) but there's no way it would fit Oscar who's a cob size in his bridles.

Look at the Mark Todd bridles - just brought one for oscar and it's lush - prefer it to the stubben that I brought Ty!
