Want to order one online tomorrow. My current shire girth measures 52 inch from edge of metal bucklesCan anyone confirm if the stubbens include the buckles in their measurements or not?

Thanks

ps intended use round cob to ensure no saddle slip and everyone really seems to rate them

Couldn't tell you about the measurement but you could give them a ring before you order. I have one for my cob and its very good. I sometimes have novices riding him and it does seem to keep the saddle in place. Also gets less sweaty under the girth. If it gets really muddy on a ride, I sluice it under a tap and hang it up to dry and its fine for the next day.

Typically I had mine here cleaning it but took it back to the yard today! I have a native/cob x and find it helps enormously during the summer when we have a bit of grass belly to contend with and does definitely help keep the saddle in place, especially when jumping.

Will try and remember to check the length of mine tomorrow morning and post back on here.
