Are they any good/usefull? Because my saddle isnt insured i take it home with me and left in my car whilst at work ( car not in public view) thinking about getting one to make it easy to keep transporting saddle

Only have a door door polo so are they easy to manage with saddle on or am i going to swear trying to get it in and out of car!!!

Thoughts please :)

I have one of these. I actually took it along to the car showroom when buying new car - I did get some looks!

There are pros and cons. I use it in the boot, by the way (a Fiat Panda that has slideable rear seats, with the seats forward as far as they'll go, and it fits fine. It also fits in the back seat (4 door car) for when the boot is full of feed buckets.

The drawbacks - the main one is that I have a dressage saddle, and the long girth straps trail a bit and can get dirty and caught in doors etc. If I use it in the car, I need to wedge it between front and rear seats, as if I put it sideways the saddle slides off as I go around corners!

Apart from that, it's great - and my hat, gloves, bridle etc. go in the space underneath.
It is very light - so how easy it is to cart around depends on how heavy your saddle (and the junk that accumulates in the storage bit) is :)
