stud girths

Our new horse has to wear one for show jumping but ordinary martingales wont attach.What do you use with stud girth there is a attachment loop but I cant remember seeing one attached to it when we tried her out.I think the woman used a breast plate.Thanks

My stud girth has a clip on it which I just clip the martingale loop into. I think most have this kind of thing on it?! What kind of stud girth do you have?

I bought kincade one just as temp as I have paid out alot of money in last couple of weeks.The girth slides through stud girth .The metal loop on girth doesnt have a clip so I was a bit confused on how to attach martingale so we took running martingale off.There is definitely no clip on ours/Had a look at the good stud girths and there are no pics with clips on them either .
Just looked at mags and ebay and they dont have clips really confused know

Ive just found some with clips as well .I think Ill have to take it back and see if I can get my money back.Mine def doesnt have a clip lol

I'm afraid I don't have an answer really. Do you have a pic if your girth? This is mine...you can see what I mean about the clip, but I suppose that doesn't really help you much!

My fault should have bought the quality one .Having bought new horse saddle and all rugs and paying out for my broken boy tried to cut corners and its back fired thanks for the picture .I know what they should look like now.

I've just been looking in h&h and WFP seems to have one that slides on over the girth and also has a martingale on. Maybe if you could examine his pic and see how he has done it you may be able to copy it and save splashing out more money!
