Bailey stud balancer all the way, keeps the little chap in great condition, and his mom was very fat when we got her, helped her too... all the vets comment on how nice and filled out he looks, ie. muscled and not chubby.

Oooooo Amy May is Baileys Stud Balancer - exactly becuase she is such a good doer.
Hasn't put on an ounce of weight - other than what I'd expect from an in foal mare.
Costs an arm and a leg - but what the hell.

Yes, but look at what you save by not needing any further supplementation for her? Everything is done for you so you don't need to add bits of this or that; what could be simpler and you know it gives her everything she needs while working out cheaper in the long run?! I've found it best by far for fatty mums!
Did I reply to your pic's the other day cos I think she's a lovely sort; going to be a very handsome/lovely foal you'll be having I think!
I'm another Bailey's stud balancer fan, my mare hasn't got fat at all, just a nice baby bump and she's been on it since coming back from the stud last year. I pay £15 a bag and it lasts a few weeks so I dont find it any more expensive than she would normally be on
