Hello
I am 17 years old and I'm looking for either an apprenticeship or job on either a stud or a competition yard.
Although I currently have a 3 year old mare, I don't have a great deal of experience on either of these yards.
I am looking for a yard that is happy to take on an apprentice/working pupil with not much experience, I am willing to try my best at anything!
If anybody knows of any yards in Yorkshire (preferable) that would be great, I am however happy enough to travel.

Hope you guys can help me :)

Hi dont know Yorkshire well at all but why not just see what's around and spend some time on a competition yard and then some on a stud, or vice versa, then you can see whats for you. I've worked on competition yards/ race yards and now on a thoroughbred stud but its only now at 24 am I realising where my passions are and what I truly want to do. Good luck, sorry I cant recommend anywhere :-)

Yeah, I'd like to mix things up a bit and try new stuff. I don't know whether I'm throwing myself into the deep end though by going to a big working yard. Thank you for your help :)
