Anybody out there had problems on either working livery or student livery when they left a yard.
I've just had to pay out hundreds to leave a yard!
I signed a contract for student livery which stated that if you wished to withdraw your horse from student livery, i.e. no longer have students riding it and have it for yourself only you had to give 2 months notice. OK. Get that.
I also signed a contract which stated if you wanted to leave the yard, one weeks notice was required. I paid weekly, so that made sense.
But when I handed in my notice, I was told that I had to give 2 months notice or pay full student livery for 2 months!!!!!
Who had a choice? I had to pay or lose the place where I wanted to go.
Anybody else had a similar problem and is there anything I can do?
