I had stud holes put in my shoes last year but had a hell of a time getting the studs I bought to fit. Dunno why - the ones in the 'stud kit' fit fine, but only included road studs and great big spikes for soft going. I bought some small jumping studs in a little packet (can't remember the name but they were the ones in my local feed store) and they seemed too big for the holes, I couldn't get them to screw in right.

Anyway, I'm getting stud holes put back in the shoes next time as the outdoor SJ season is nearly upon us at my yard (YAY!!). What are the best brand of studs to purchase? I just want little ones that will do for general outdoor jumping in summer.

thanks for any advice. I'm pretty new to studs so any information will be useful.

I have heard supastuds are good but never used them myself. Often cheap studs have rubbish threads on them which make them a pain to put in.
