Well... We did only go to two places, but then we were in the car for nearly two hours because the nearest tack shop to us is ages away.

Anyways...

We bought:

- A gorgeous padded navy blue headcollar with brass metalwork.
- A matching navy blue lead rope.
- A matching navy blue hay net.
- A navy blue schooling whip for me.
- A black schooling whip for my mum.
- A hat for my mum.
- Hoof oil.
- A special dandy brush on a handle thing, half price because of the ugly colour!
- A two coloured lavender and baby blue headcollar.
- A lavender lead-rope.
- A purple haynet.
- A long lead rein.
- Feed buckets.
- A purple light-weight fork.
- A flourescent hat band each.
- A flourescent green hat silk.
- Two flourescent tabards.
- Sponges.
- A new body brush for me because the cats we were looking after picked out the brush part of my old one!

Yay!

Twas so fun! Practically everything was in a sale, and I know it was a bit of a gamble buying the head-collars before we have the horses, but they're in cob size and very adjustable, and they didn't cost much so it wouldn't be a huge loss if they didn't fit!

I found a lovely stable rug, and then my little sister tried it on x) And the fist place had so many numnahs!

We went to our local tack shop on saturday.....was sooo excited as had vouchers for christmas..... and had a huge list for new skull cap, dressage markers, equi chaps, + the usual suppliments....OH even wanted some "male jods" (as he too is now learning) :-).......couldn't believe it was closed (christmas hours!!!) It was 30th December, what is special about that day!!!! Gutted...can't get now till next w'end :-(

Ditto spending money on horse rather than self! Bought a new pair of trousers last week, the first item for "me" for months, and felt SO guilty. Whereas a new Rambo Duo last month, new saddle next month, no problem ......!
