I am very sorry, I have (I thought) read my rule book cover to cover, but can't find out the following -

When money wise must you move up from BN to disco (for example), I mean I know that you can jump either to start with but what are the money 'brackets' for each class? I thought that if you have won a hundered quid or so you were 'out' of BN? And what about Disco, 1.05 etc etc

So would someone with a brain please let me know incase I ever win any money (ha ha.....).

Thankies xxx

BN £0-100
Discovery £0-174 (or is it 5!)

1.05 opens have no limits unless stated on the schedule.

also remember it is notional winnings and not actual that count towards above. Notional being what is used for grading and actual being what you are given to spend on bacon rolls! :P

Sorry to jump in on your post randira, but how do you know what is notional? Is it a set amount for placings in specific classes or does it also depend how many are in the class?

depends how many in the class (1 prize for every 5 starters) and the class itself never mind also now if a national class eg BN, DIS you have to go double clear to have notional prize money! check rule book though to check for each class, it is available online now

there is a set amount, eg for newcomers, the notional prize money for the first round is:
1st=£25
2nd=£20
3rd=£15
4th=£12
5th=£10
6th=£8

you can find the rest for other classes on page 51 of the 07 rule book
