Go up to the yard this morning, sunshine , 16 degrees.
I think, hurrah! I can ride in sunshine at least, being they promised it would be a warm week.
Its now grey, windy and looking like its going to chuck it down

Where is this sunshine?!?

Well, could you kindly send a small portion of it this way about 1 so the farrier doesnt have to stand in the rain, i can keep my arm in my socket and ride with just a t-shirt on?

Well, if it makes you feel any better it isn't always sunny here, it is 20C, rain belting down so hard that it is bouncing off the driveway, spectacular lightening and lots of thunder.

Which is why I am sitting here at the computer rather than doing loading practise which is what I had planned to do today. I am not going outside in this.

plus side is that my hay will grow faster, and I won't have to water the vegetables later.

Updated to say that I'd forgotten the mini was out in a paddock with no shelter.
For the FIRST time in three years I actually put on my wax coat (and attractive matching hat) to retrieve him, poor beggar, he was up to his ankles in water (so why stand in a puddle

) and shaking, so he's in bed with a blanket on warming up.

I am very thankful that no one could see me, long wax coat, silly hat, wellies and cut off jeans, nice look.

I'm just about to finish work, collect the family and head off to the yard....looks like being a lovely evening
