Sorry to sound like a complete fool but....

When you have seen foal moving in a pregnant mare what have you seen?

I can notice big kicks, but do see other funny ripples and wobbles and wonder if its foalie moving? I am completly obsessed with belly staring and would love to put my mind at rest and say yes probably foalie.

Just wondering what you spot in your mares.

Thanks :D

About 2 weeks ago foal was very active and was kicking her around like anything (dont know how she put up with it!!) Now he/she is a little quieter but i notice he/she move when im grooming my mare just little movements that i know arent her if that makes sense?

I love belly watching too!!!!!! :D :D

im obsessed too! forever standing looking closely at my mares tummy yesterday it looked like it was doing somersaults then going quiet and little wobbly movements. My mare seems even grumpier than normal and keeps shifting her weight from one foot to the other she isnt laying down much either but eats her evening feed like she's starving!

haha glad its not just me!

Thank you, i have been seeing wibbles and wobbles, like jelly when shes eating her tea or after water! Just keep thinking is it, isnt it! Drives me mad.

She is carrying high and hiding well so im looking for all the signs i can!

Belly watching is huge fun! Otti used to wriggle like stink especially when you poked her belly and woke him up :P He'd have a mad five minutes and settle down again. Amusing to watch! x

I'm so glad I've read this thread I wanted to know but didn't want to ask mine too was lively last week and real quiet this week :(

I tend to go as far as whispering 'grey filly, grey filly grey filly' at diva's belly...:p

The owner of the little mare that's living at mine bends down and talks to her flanks "Come on little donkey, hurry up out" I tell her she'd be far better lifting the tail up and whispering to that end!

Well I had a good stare today. Saw some wiggles and bouncy belly type moves. I'm so glad I'm not the madest mum to be haha! I will be drawing the line at talking to it using her you know what as a microphone lol!

I natter away all the time, keep telling her to hurry and make sure that she is a she and chestnut!
I dont have a gymnastic in her tum but def a wriggly fish
Im you want a chuckle have a listen, sounds like a washing machine in my girls tum!

I decided to give ginge a good groom tonight and put my ear to her tum half way through, not only did it sound like a washing machine..WHACK baby kicked me in the cheek :/ that will teach me:p
