I have saddler coming out to fit my new horse with a saddle.. but i have a question...

She is a MN in a wintec would this mean shes a MN in a leather saddle?

No, but if you tell the saddle fitter it will give them some idea of the width of the horse.

My little cob has an extra wide wintec for everyday and a wide leather for showing.

Our big girl has an old MW wintec which we use in emergencies but her leather one is medium.

From what I have seen - no because a second hand saddle may have one BEEN a MN but may well have been altered/reflocked etc so no longer IS a MN.

In short, sometimes what someone says a saddle is, is no bearing on what it actually is :)
