stupid question - grass

Okay I know I can't give the horses grass from the lawn mower as it heats up etc but is it ok to cut grass with scissors and give it to them? Amazingly I have really long grass at home and was wondering if this was possible?

Cant imagine its any different from hand picking and feeding, which I have done with mine for many years, never had a problem yet!!

Have done that on several occasions for box-rest horses. If kept in a cool place it will last till the next morning, too.
