Stupid Question re Bits & Dressage - Sorry!

Probably a stupid question so apologies in advance, but if a hanging cheek snaffle is dressage legal, and you have a bit that has the capability to be a gag or a hanging cheek (thinking of the NS Tranz Universal), do you know if you would be allowed to use it in a dressage comp?

With the rein on the main ring it would have the same action as a hanging cheek, but as it has the third ring underneath maybe that means you can't use it? (Am only talking RC level BTW!!)

No you can't use it.

You need to get an actual hanging cheek.

Even though the rein would be on the main ring it still wouldnt be allowed as its not a dressage legal bit. Even if the judge was ok with it, you may have other competitors complain. x
