To get her due date, do I count from when she was inseminated or scanned?

I have gone through all my books tonight trying to find out but nothing. Sorry, im a little new to breeding

A rough due date is 11 months and 5 days from Ovulation, if you don't know when ovulation is then from insemination or covering date

from when she was inseminated....easiest way was to count back 25days from when she was inseminated and that should be her due date (340 days) anything from 20 days before or after due date is normal. (320-360days)
whats your mare and whats she in foal too? (sorry prob says that in previous posts)

ideally from ovulation......

if your vet has her ovulation date.... anyway give or take a day or two from insemination......... I use this.

Give us the date she was covered and we can tell you roughly. We have had a chart for years and years supplied by a stud vet and we always go on that.

yeah, i've only been up to see her once. Sounds awful, but she was trying to jump out the field when we left. She adores my OH. Was heartbreaking to leave her, although I know she's fine, just didnt want to distrub or stress her out again.
