Stupid weatherman got it wrong - poor foalie

So the weather today said rain rain rain and some more heavy rain. Mare and foalie living out but I have one stable so thought I'd bring them in for the day for a bit of hay and a rest. Then I toddled merrily off to work thinking they'd be warm and dry for the day in the (albeit tight) stable

It only stayed dry all bl**dy day!

Turned them out a six and now it's started hammering it down - looks set in for the night. Poor wee thing. I hope she's ok in this.

Pointless post - just wanted a rant!

i know, they got it totally wrong as per, horses will survive, they had a nice load of food during the day to keep them going

Ours live out, all the grown ups have rugs on, actually changed the brood mare to a heavier weight one this morning, for which she managed to look greatful for a change! It hasn't stopped raining all day!! OH said foal was absolutely livid this evening, she lashes out at rain (am hoping she grows out of this!)

we had two very cold grumpy horses last night, and had to put heavier rugs on them both. my sisters horse gets so grumpy he refuses to be caught, the bucks and squeals when you leave him behind!
ron just quietly toddles on down the track and puts himself in his stable with no-one leading him... ahh bless.
