On the way to the field tonight at 10 to 5 I met a horse and rider on the road - NO hi vis, dark clothes, dark horse, but he did have white legs! I can not believe some people! Just hope they got home ok.
Stupid!!!!!!!!!!

i think people like this must be slightly demented not to realise the amount of danger they put themselves in if they ride without hi vis on roads? I always wear mine if i go off the farm, and if it's dark i'll wear it when i ride on the farm. i was on a sponsored ride a couple of years ago and i was the only rider in my group who was wearing hi vis. unfortunately my horse bolted down a main road when another rider cut us up and my pony fell. but if he hadn't been wearing hi vis, i don't think that i would have my pony today.
