Last weekend, at a major showing show, I witnessed real stupidity. Parked alongside our lorry was a trailer containing a young horse (approx 3yrs old & 16.2hh) which was far too tall for the trailer, head lowered because if it even lifted it to look out of the open front ramp window, it would bang its head. Not only that, it was tied up with its leadrope attached to the bit chain on its bridle!!! I had to walk away as the thought of what might happen made my stomach churn...stupid people!
