Stye?

On Bear's upper eyelid. I have never seen this on a dog so no idea what to do. I refuse to panic! Should I take him to the vet? Will it go on it's own? Should I put something on it? It's very close to his eye, obviously, so I'm a bit wary of putting on cream etc.

Might be an ingrown eyelash? Might go to vet just in case as you say, if it is in a sensitive area.

Defo not a tick, plenty of experience of those, yack! Might wait til Monday (oh my God, I'm a bad owner!) then take him with big dog-staple removal was delayed as I wasn't happy they were ready to come out.
