We went as riding class style though because we had entered that earlier on in day

The horses in the class were a varied mix, few people on cobs doing fancy tricks such as rein back, flying changes etc. There were also some hunters and riding horses, really varied! some people did big fancy shows etc. I did the simple hunting show, ie. walked away trot back, canter change through trot over diagnoal, back into canter and gallop on the long side

It does depend alot on the judge, but she judged it on equatition and way of going suited to horse (someone who didnt win got a bit annoyed cos they did all these fancy movements and i did the basics

Turn out as suits your type of horse. I have done these with a riding horse and so had coloured browband, double bridle unless schedule specified snaffle, tweed jacket. You could equally as well take her in hunter mode with plain browband etc. Schedule normally specifies a set routine. Did a PUK one last year, went in individually stood in front of judge for appearance element, then did the show element of it.
