You know that horrible wobbly crest that happens when the pony gets way too fat....
One of mine has a disgusting crest, doesn't help that she's a mare, such not a good look for her. One of my others is IR/EMS so she is treated the same as it's easier. She's always had a crest, somewhat scarred from previous untreated sweet itch so makes it look even worse.
Diet - out 24/7 on very sparse ancient horse grazing, 2kg of old meadow hay in morning/evening, dinner is Lo-Cal/MagOx/Brewers Yeast/Linseed/Boswellia (bit of arthritis to contend with)
Other than the crest she is disgustingly healthy, full of beans, bright eyes, shiny coat, fit as a fiddle despite just weekend work at the moment, barefoot and always has been, lovely tight feet, never pulsey etc etc.
But the crest doesn't budge no matter how slim/fit she is?
Is it really a case of once a crest/always a crest or has anyone found a miracle cure other than Liposuction?
