Hi

Have not posted in a while, but was previously having issues with my 5y/o rottie being rather agressive at the vets...

I followed some advice on the forum, and have been taking her in to the vets to greet the vet nurses twice a week... This has usually been very nervous on Hollys part, eying the nurses up in a formidable manner and freezing... Even when reassured and spoken softly to there was no fussing, and when a treat was offered in was sniffed, spat out and sniffed again as if someone was trying to poison her.

WELL for the last three times into the vets, we have had a relaxed Holly, waggy tail and fusses and kisses for the vet nurses... AMAZED. And guess what?! She has had her booster jab today and a quick check over (abeit in the carpark and not in the surgery, fully muzzled) and no snarling, teeth showing... just a little tense.

Still alot of work to go... Wow :D

This is all a huge improvement from the fearful, snarling, aggressive monster, that used to start as soon as you pulled up in the carpark.
