Ponio was a very good boy today and went for a hack in his own :3 yes, it is significant, mr.gypsy is a big baby and used to napp at the first sight of going out alone! I'm soo pleased with him providing his past :D one happy mummy!

Well done! Feels great doesn't it! I had my first solo hack on my horse last weekend- i was so happy afterwards!

Well done, your Mr Gypsy looks very like my nappy lad, perhaps they are twins! Its so frustrating when they wont go on their own, but when they do you feel terrific dont you?

It's a great feeling, although I had some help off my dad who walks with me for about 100yards past gypsys best friends field then we trot and he's all good :D he used to be awful and not even hack out in company and wouldn't even leave the gate... He would rear up and spin around and flatten anything in his path of home :P and even better we did it in a snaffle! And did the gates along the way :D

We sent him away for some very firm schooling and the help of great friends who have 3 very placid cobs that cornerd him in every time he reard and he grew friends with them and he's a star now, I could put a 10 year old on him to hack out in company (certainly not alone though) :P
