Success with the little pony i'm riding

She was rearing and being really difficult with her rider. I've been riding her less than a week and she now looks like this:

It's not perfect and I'm going to try to stop her overbending but it's a good start and i'm really proud of her.

The trick is then transferring that 'well behaved' pony to the other rider... I used to do a lot back in the old (old!) days when I was lighter, fitter, stronger, and a far better rider than I am now . It was frustrating when one I'd been working with would go brill for me, but then ditch it's owner

Ah well.

Thanks, I've had the 11 year old on her with me around and she was ok. Still has her head in the air with her but we can work on that

MrsMozart - I didn't have to do much really, she's a lovely little pony. Just needed to be ridden properly for a bit. I'm going to start doing some canter work and poles soon. She's also been taking off in the field so I've got that to work on as well.

Schneeko, just out of interest, what's the pony called? It's not called Paige is it?

It's called Pippy, they've only had it about 6 weeks, and it's about 10, I think

Just wondered as it looks similar to a pony some kids I used to teach had, and in a similar area! Looks to be behaving rather well, congrats!
