well our horse had the tie back and hobday op yesterday and all went very very well (while we spent the day a bag of nerves)!!. Geoff Lane said it was a text book op. So really pleased about that. We did see them just finishing the op and saw him get hoisted to the recovery cell and watched him come round. Poor fella looked awful.
Today we heard he was much brighter and ate loads of haylge last night so all good signs (has the will to live lol). Will pick him up tomorrow, I can't wait.
Geoff did say we should start to see a huge improvement performance and health wise when he's fully recovered.
So far so good xx
Have to say Geoff is such a nice guy, spent time explaining the op to us and happily answered our daft questions xx (Thanks Geoff if you ever read this lol)

Awww.. such a nasty operation. Such a sensative area!
Glad it went okay and hope you man is back up and runnig soon!

Where did he go? Leaherst? or Loophook is it? lol

Thanks LL so do we, he went to our vets own surgery unit nr Blandford and Geoff Lane came to site. (Our vet was his assistant for the day lol).
