I have a speedy horse!
We went to the beach today, with 5 of us in total, 3 horses and 2 ponies.
As soon as their feet hit the sand that was the heads up, prancing, sideways etc. etc., big lad just HAD to be at the front!
So, off we 'cantered', soon of course galloping, lolloping behind one of the ponies. One touch of the heels and wham! Cruising into the lead! So took a break at the other end of the beach, paddled (took a few minutes to stop!) out to our knees etc. etc., then I was very gracious (
) and let them all have a headstart.
Well...as We cruised past them I really felt the power beneath me! Nothing like galloping flat out down a beach with no-one in front of you!
So, we then decided enough galloping and went into the sea.
How do you know it's time to turn for home?
When your horse is shoulder deep and decides to start trotting out to sea!
So, what has everyone else done?
It was a glorious day over here, pink, orange sunset and really crisp!
