About two Years ago I was getting a fright with my boy going down and not getting up, touch WOOD, that has not happened again.......
Yesterday he had a drink and then I heard a clang ( I think was trough), and when I turned around and he was on the deck, he was not afraid, and was trying to get up, ( I was in bits), after about 30 seconds he got up and was being very strange, he could not walk forward, and seemed to backing away from something!!!!!!!
WEll, I thought he was having a fit, but he walked away fine, after about 10 seconds.
I know this post proably seems a bit rushed and it is as the experience was soo quick, now I have calmed down and had time to think..
Could it be ( as I suspect), that he slipped on the mud and gave himself a dead leg. This is what I now think, as it all happened soo quick.
When he got himself together, all he seemed to be doing was look at his back leg, he came over had a fuss and some treats and went back to grazing
I am worreid though after last year, but this was completly different, he was not scared or panicked, he just looked cross with himself ( if that makes sense)
I suppose I just want reasurence as I did not sleep last night.
Hot chocolate and cookies for those who got this far xxxx
