Hi,

Just wanted a bit of feedback if poss on these reins or similar:

Suede grip reins instead of rubber pimple ones... Just pondering these as my current regular rubber grip reins seem to eat my gloves and my ned isn't that strong so thought these might be grippy enough and no mean I go through gloves. I also have some nice new gloves I'd like to keep wearing!

Any experiences or feedback welcome thanks :)

I have the Albion half leather half nubuck, which I think is very similar. Fantastic to ride in but after a few years they nubuck is wearing off like suede shoes do eventually.

They look nice and won't break the bank, BUT would think that the suede will quite quickly go smooth especially the bit that goes against the horses' neck and gets all sweaty, plus maybe in really wet weather you'll find they get really damp and horrible???

Sorry, not trying to put you off......

Personally I prefer the Eventa reins, but that's just me.
