Tommy , Ive been thinking about possibly leaving balmoral this year as everything just seems so close , I just dont think hes ready , Plus I need to get a new show saddle , Hence the title , what are your opinions for those that have them ?

Also coloured browbands( for lead rein/first ridden) , What in your opinion suit him ? If needing a pic I will post one just say

, but hes the little grey in my signature , he has a black mane and has a blaze .

I had a suede seated saddle for years (10+), as well as a traditional one. My suede one aged quickly (compared to traditional) and just looked plain tatty in the end.
I did try to revitalise it with a suede brush but ended up selling it.

for showing, suede saddles are normal. However i would sugest that you go for a saddle with leather panels but suede seat and knee rolls. They look better for longer. As for when they get wet, you just have to let it dry, then brush the pile back up with a suede brush.

Burghundy and gold browbands look lovely on greys. however if you are showing a pony with a pretty browband then your rider has to have a navy jacket and the pony turned out as a showpony.
If you are turning out as an M&M or SHP then you dont use a coloured browband!

Won't you be doing M+M leadrein? If you are doing SP/SHP then I always used to have red and white and silver on my little grey.
