dont worry too much, if they cant prove negligence they are fine

Our riding school had someoen try and claim because there daughter fell off when a pony refused a jump!! the reason he refused was because she pulled back just before the jump!

Nothing happened of this I hope everything works out

It sickens me to see how often people are sueing riding schools and livery yards these days when accidents occur.
I can remember being thrown off ponies, getting bolted with and all kinds when I was learning to ride, but that was the risk you took back then, nothing was said.
These law firms are making it far too easy for people to do this. The only thing that I am glad to see is the dodgy dealers who give false info on their horses, are getting their just desserts. My YO is so cautious now about who is on our yard and safety etc. Is ruling her life.x

i worked in a riding school years ago and a middle aged man fell off at M and died!, these days no doubt we'd have been sued too...
