Suffolk "bog pony" ok after drama

Just seen this on FB - poor little pony and rider! Glad they were both ok and the pony remained calm and ate the grass - obviously nothing can tear a pony away from its food!

Bet they both needed a good hose down after that too!
 
wow must have been so scary for the pony and rider but glad they are both ok. What an ordeal. Surprised that something so deep was so close to a path!
 
I know, that was the scary part, the girl's mum has been interviewed and was saying there was no indication of any boggy ground and was only just off the main track. The forestry commission say they will investigate and consider what action to take to prevent further accidents. Lucky it was an organised ride with lots of people about!
