Just had a bit of a clear out in the feed room and came across some sugar beet pellets, that have been stored in an air tight and rodent proof container. I have no idea how exactly how old it is (6years max). Do you think it is safe to use?

I personally would use it for bulking out feeds but wouldnt expect it to have much nutritional value

The bag i am using for my good do-er to mix his balancer in is three years old

I expect many would recoil in horror though!

Throw it away. There is a possibility of mycotoxins
I was going to suggest you put it out for the birds [soaked] but maybe that is not a good idea!

LOL. I did that and got a rollocking from YO because the birds didn't eat it! Had to go and sweep it all up... not an easy job on grass!
