I've always wondered why dried dog food has sugar beet pulp as an ingredient. Is it to make it taste nice as I can't think of any other reason. I would prefer not to have it but there doesn't seem to be much choice.
he was on chappie dry low fat, coz he had to lose weight, but has gone a bit far, and need to put a kilo on...he's to be maintained at a weight that is less than it is ideal as he has HD. He's now on Chappie meat and Winalot mixer, has gained a little....hasn't been on it long..

I would have thought because of the sugar it would increase weight.
well if you soak it and i assume you do i wouldnt use it as its been shown that soaked food can cause bloat, as i lost a dog to bloat i never want to go through that again so i wouldnt touch it. End of day personal choice.
