My rather large 16.2 IDx is getting really bad at snatching at trees, bushes etc whilst out riding, the land that he is grazing on is not so great, but he is of a good solid weight and is getting hard feed and hay to top him up.
He is quite strong and does not respond to a whack on his neck by the whip (don't like to do this but it is very bad manners and he almost pulls my arm out of its socket).
Any suggestions, am going to try tying a small nappy sack bag to the end of my whip and giving it a shake at his head the next time i ride, but any other suggestions would be most welcome.
He didn't do this (as bad) last year and all teeth, back, saddle etc is all ok.
