My horse is very good infront, so much so that my very expensive short stud girth is taking a pounding! Does anybody have suggestions of good stud girths which don't cost the earth which I could use while training and then keep the good 1 for competitions. I have a monoflap saddle so girth has to be a short 1. I don't like the type that you attach to a normal girth as they tend to slip and the last thing I want is to "punish" my horse for being so active infront. It doesn't have to be leather altho have no experience of whether a synthetic material would stand up to the pounding, especially when horse is studded up.Hope someone might be able to give me some ideas. Thanks.

Hi, the comfort zone ones are good :) They aren't too expensive, and should be pretty hardwearing I think :) I've had 2, and they are light and flexible :)
