I'm considering putting my dressage mare in foal next year.

She is SHB(GB) registered, with Akkord on the sires side and Atlantus on the dam side.

She's got fairly decent conformation but things I would like to improve are:

1. A litte more length through the rein
2. Enhance her movement

I would prefer a British bred stallion or at least one based in the UK! Mare is 16.1hh and would like (though I know it's not guaranteed) foal to end up roughly around the same height.

Edited to add - would like foal for dressage purposes!

All suggestions gratefully received......

Whilst I like Grannex, I don't think he would suit dressage purposes.
If you want a British bred/based stallions I would say you couldn't go wrong with Showmaker, who has had some GORGEOUS foals and has even been used by Catherston on some of their mare's Other UK based dressage stallions I like are:
Millenium - LOVE him - yes he is a big boy but not ALL of his stock are big;
Deanes San Ciro Hit - gorgeous stallion standing at Catherston
Garuda K
San Liberty - young Sandro Hit stallion who, whilst he has not yet thrown a huge number of stock, what has been produced is very good quality and typical Sandro Hit stamp in looks and with lovely temps. He is bred by Paul Shockemohle BUT is owned and stands in the UK in West Sussex. This is them: http://www.wlsporthorses.com/Stallions-at-Stud-San-Liberty

SOOOOO many to choose from tho - have a look around at what you like.

I was looking at stallions last year for this stud season and got details of so many! Like you I prefered to use a british stallion and ended up using T.Movistar, a fantastic stallion who is doing very well in competition, see carl hesters website. He's about 16.1 by jazz, very compact and a real power house with fab action, unlike most jazz offspring he has a lovely easy temperament. Alternatively if you are after a horse that is longer through the neck (more tb style) you could try looking at the flemmingh line, they can (like jazz!) be of hot blood but it depends on your mares attitude, if she is a hothead then it may not be the best combination.
