3 years old dog not neutered. He has Dylan working dog dried food and sometimes a bit of Dylan tinned to add variety or other cheap tinned food. Is this diet ok? I have read about raw food but dont want to go down that route.
he had Royal Canin as a puppy and had a lovely shiny coat but it is expensive however I will go back to that if its better. recommendations please.

i feed wainwrights dry, with cheap crap wet to mix (half can per big dog, 1/4 for small ones) Royal canin is ****. working dog food is just normal dog food with a bunch of sugar threw in.

The higest protein food is always the best. This also costs the most.

After trying the expensive kibble a,eg arcana and Origen and throwing most away as my two didn't eat it,we switched to farmina,N.D ,grain free dog food...we use the chicken variety.I have a st.poodle..22 kg and a schnauzer8 kg.

They get boiled chicken,or fish etc in the morning mixed with this food...they polish their bowls.POos are best they have been, coats shine etc...

Try Skinnners field & trial duck & rice or salmon & rice. Better ingredients than many more expensive foods and suit a lot of dogs.

Working dog food may or may not have more sugar but is actually a label fudge so as not to pay VAT - same as with greyhound food.
