suitable dye for horses ?

my horse has a light patch of fur which i would love to dye for shows. Does anyone have any experience of doing this and what products would be suitable to use ? many thanks

I wouldn't use dye, but you can get horse 'make up' for showing that might work

you would be ok using a crazy colour, a vegtable based dye, you can get them from sallys they are semis so will wash out after a few washes

lol a friend of mine was telling me she used hair dye to colour her horse's mane black (he's meant to be pure black but had a little brown in his mane). So she clipped him...then washed the dye into his mane...of course it went EVERYWHERE and he had black splodges all over his clipped coat- which was meant to be grey!

pointless post but I thought it was funny

o and she ended up reserve supreme champ somehow!
