Suitable for breeding

have a mare who is seven years old. She is by Libro x TB Grandad was Mill Reef. I was told when i bought her that at KWPN grading as five year old she scored 66-68% for paces and 72% for loose jump. Did that mean she passed her grading? Would you breed from her??? Opinions most welcome please.

You don't breed the scores/pedigree.

What I mean is what is the MARE like? Good conformation? Nice attitude? Has she done anything?

That's what you should look at, not the scores she was given. They're a useful guideline, but assess the mare herself.

She is lovely and very suitable in my mind but would still like to know what scores mean and what other people think. Very talented jumper and doing well at BSJA though late starter as backed very late. My jockey is going off to farrier college in April and just considering my options carefully as rate her too highly to part with her easily.

Firstly you could contact the KWPN direct and find out if the information on her scores are correct, that would not be that hard in finding.

68% for paces is not too bad and nor is 72 for jump. It would not be a case of "did she pass her grading", I would be guessing with that scores that she would have received a 2nd Premium??

You also need to assess her as a breeding mare, looking at her conformation etc, what else has she done etc?? Would need to know more about her.
