Hi,

Im trying to sort out my insurance for my boy but i dont know what i should put in for the sum insured??

Im hoping you guys can give me an idea of what his market value would be?!

He is a bay 14yo 16.2hh tb, completely safe although is spooky but never nasty, schools lovely in an outline, has won and been placed unaffiliated dressage up to novice level, loves jumping, been xc schooling and going to do HT in the next few weeks. Hacks alone and in company. 100% farrier, vet, catch, box/trailer, handle. Needs to be twitched to be clipped. Ermmm cant think of anything else...prob too much info anyway!

Opinions as to what i should insure him for would be great - i know he isnt worth very much but i would need something should anything ever happen to him (touch wood it wont for many years to come).

Thanks xx

LOL!! I have never insured for LOU - I am only interested in cover for Vet Fees, so I have never insured any of my horses for more than £1,000 - keeps premiums to a minimum and still gives me all of the benefits.
