Well Today both my guys had a bee in their bonnets ;D

Weathers been rotten but today it was dry in the AM so trotted off to S's to go for a hack but after seeing dezi going ballisitc in the field after not being out for the late 6 days S wasnt for getting on him (see vid  ) I wouldnt have either TBH after watching him!!!

E's leg is looking amazing, the bow is very small now and shes come 100% sound!!! We found that out today as she was trotting about the yard after Dezi was spooking at stuff in the field  Ive got some of it on Vid, the cars are placed strategically so as NOT to give her a long line to run in ;) Just incase people thought we were being silly ;)

Hows she looking :D I think better IMO :)

Didn't he have fun

Oh hell yes wait until you see the three min vid i took!! :D

 Thank goodness for rugs ! ! ;)

eek thank god he had a rug on or it would have been cold hose bath for the coblet!!

Oh yes he would have gotten a cold bath for his pains lol as he had lymphocystic vasulitis in the summer, he got his legs thoroughly rinsed and dried before popping on more pig oil (fabulous stuf :D)

LOL hes was 20 going on 2 today!!!

He was having a ball :D

Definitely something in the air tonight, I rode my friend's getting-on-a-bit gelding today and he was hilarious- trying to buck, dancing sideways, generally being a massive prat!

why would you put a horse in a small area with cars, fence panels down and electric fence stakes lying on the ground? sorry but bloody foolish thing to do.

 Its actually a large space. the cars werent there shes NOT to do too much running about hence the cars being places to STOP her getting a run up.

The fencing pannels blew off with the hellish winds, they were all put back on that day

Foolish not to read a post I reckon JH ;) Whats that old adage, 'If you cant say summat nice.....' Im not a child so dont speak to me like one.

Lovely horses OP Your mare looks to have gained a few pounds, her coat looks lovely as well. Fingers crossed she will pick up a bit more for you.

Your older horse is looking great, he looks to have some spring in his step, he certainly doesnt look 20 :D.

Are any of the poster posting about the fencing panels from the area of the OP? I am more southern but the winds here have been terrible and we have things that have been blown about the yard as well including fencing panels and even one of the sides of the wooden barn came in

You seem like a sensible person OP who cares deeply for their horses.

Thank you very much :)

The mare is convalescning now with veterinary advice which is turn out for a short period daily away from mud. Hence the yard. I cant see damage she is going to do and neither can my vet in the yard. If you had to see it today it was totally different with everything tidied up after the storms  If people are jsut goin to be negative and pick things apart then i will no longer respond. Im sure you all ahve your horses in golden palaces with post and rail fencing, no mud and lots of golden horse poop lying about for the taking

Last comment I am going to make on my own thread. Its strange how on here you dont get encouragement most of the time its put downs but go ahead I wont be looking anymore so have your say, get out your PMS and have at :D :D

well pick them up them! why cause a hazard very foolish. It had nothing to do with reading, it was the pictures and video that showed the potential hazards.

i did not speak to you like you was a child, I pointed out imo (and it being a forum im allowed one) what you done was very careless. however if you wish me to patronise you then please just say. ;)
