Summer cough....

My mate gets a cough every spring/summer. It was so bad the other day we had to call a halt to her jumping session as I felt bad for her the vet checked her a while back & said it was just a sensitivity & recommended a low hay feeder to stop seeds/dust getting in her airways( unfortunately not feasible for our stable set up) anyone got any advice?

Soaked hay, and also a nose net and vaseline around her nostrils when riding as she may be sensitive to pollen.
