Hi, can anyone recommend any lightweight jodhpurs or breeches? All of mine are winter weight and I've been cooking in this heat! I think it's about time to invest in some nice summer ones, but when I look on the internet, they don't seem to be categorised in that way.

Can anyone recommend and good ones? I've heard the Gorringe ones don't last long...thanks

This might provoke a laugh but.... the ones from Lidl...if you can get them..I bought some about four years ago and, although now a little tatty, have lasted really well...they are a nice lightweight cotton and lycra mixutre with a full seat...You do occasionally see them come up on ebay - but if you do...they are mine..desperate for another pair!

i have some just togs which look like jogging bottoms - they have an elasticated top and are similar in material to joggers but really comfy and nice and light for the summer

there are lovely colours available too - i like the biscuity beige

hope that helps

I got some Ariat Ventura riding tights. They are pull on, thin lycra with suede knee patches. They are very comfy, I think they are used for endurance. Got them from a shop on Ebay.
