Does anyone have any recommendations for lightweight, cool jodhpurs / breeches which won't roast me as I ride? (And preferably not too pricey because new horse is already costing me a fortune!)

I know we don't get a lot of summer in this country but on the few days of the year when it is boiling hot, I'd prefer to be wearing something that's not heavyweight and designed for deepest darkest winter, which apparently is all I have :o

Rode in leggings the other day but they were only £9 from next so don't think they're going to last that long as ridingwear ;)

Also open to any other summer riding recommendations! x

My mu got a pair from decathlon, think they were only £10 if you don't mind plain ones. They were a very thin material which is brilliant for summer- not sure how long they'll last though, thats the trouble with nice thin summer clothes and horses! But they were nice and soft and stretchy, she's had them a few months and are doing ok so far :)
