Does anyone remember the old fashioned checked summer sheets?

Does anyone know where you can get them? I've searched high and low for them but all that keeps coming up is girly colours like pink, mauve and baby blue-what has happened to nice sensible colours like red, blue and green?!!!!!

If anyone has any suggestions at all could you let me know pleeease!!!??

I remember a time where rugs were either navy, green or jute coloured! And you had a newmarket if you were posh!

Those were the days!
 
Thanks for that! I remember my first pony had a red checked checked one-now it's all pastelly colours! Which isn't a good look for a bloke!!! LOL
 
I got a black and silver one from Aldi a few months ago when they were doing horse stuff

Not much use to you now but keep an eye out for them. Its fab, fits really well, got leg straps, fillet string, trigger clips at the front etc and it was only about £10.
 
I've got two brand new, just stored, red and white checked ones looking for new homes, I was going to put them on ebay next week, they haven't got sircingles though! Any good? 5ft3in and 5ft9in.
