I like Ariat tellurides. They are lightweight, waterproof and very comfortable. Ariat have just updated the style to the Telluride II so you can get the old style discounted at some places - got mine from Wychanger barton

Brogini from Mole Valley are pretty good and not too expensive. Mine have lasted a good year so far despite daily use and still going strong.

Didn't read this post beforehand but have actually just bought the ariat boots form countrywide, they were £70 and I LOVE them, just done a 3 hour hack and no sweaty feet or calves (also bought a pair of synthetic chaps).
