Thought you might all like to share in Sunnymum's absolute joy in winning her first ever competition on Wednesday night. There were 10 entries for the W&T and some very good competition. I will let Sunnymum fill you in on the details, but here's a piccy of her halt, immobility, salute ...

She walked around for the rest of the evening sporting her red rosette with the biggest smile you have ever seen

I do my very first on Tuesday (also walk and trot) and I'm scared to death. I know that doesn't make sense and its supposed to be fun yad da yad da ....... but I'm scared

Blimey! Who is that on that one-eyed cob trying to remember to smile at the judge at the same time as remembering the way out of the arena? Was that ever a GREAT feeling??? And to anyone out there in Forum Land whose horse or pomy has lost (or is about to lose) an eye, try not to worry...it's NOT the end of the world. They cope VERY, VERY well. Thanks for all the support everyone!!!
