My 10 year old daughter qualified for the sunshine tour in the showing section last weekend.

Obviously she is thrilled, but here is the problem....

She qualified in the Most Handsome Gelding class

and rode him herself (with me lurking nearby) in walk and a little trot.

BUT the paperwork for the qualifier says she has a choice of inhand showing.... he wont go inhand, he just drags along behind us and would be far too strong for her if he decided to graze

OR she could do ridden showing or a hunter class....

Now she can only really walk and trot, canter would see her on the floor

Can she go in and be led or would that defeat the object completely????

Is there anyway you can contact the organisers/show secretary to find out, you better off getting a answer straight from the horses mouth so you know clearly what to expect or do, that way you might be able to get some practice in during the time before you go.

Good luck, hope you do well
